Feathrs is a comprehensive poultry management app designed for anyone who keeps birds - from backyard chicken owners with a small flock to serious breeders and commercial layer operations managing hundreds of birds.

Whether you keep chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, quail, or guinea fowl, Feathrs gives you one clean, offline-first place for health records, egg production logs, breeding calendars, incubation tracking, and finances.

Feathrs runs on iPhone and iPad through the App Store, on Android through Google Play, and in any modern web browser. The web app needs no install and is included at no extra cost.

Your account and all data sync between them, so you can log eggs on your phone at the coop and review reports on a laptop later.

From the Flocks tab, tap the + button to add your first bird. You can fill in species, breed, name or band number, sex, hatch date, and color - or keep it minimal and add more detail later.

Not sure of the breed? Use the Identify tab to photograph the bird, get an AI breed match, and open the full breed page before you set it on the profile.

Yes. One subscription covers your entire property and everyone on it. Invite family members, farmhands, or your vet to your farm team from the Account tab, and they sign in on their own devices and see the same flock records, health logs, and egg production data once it syncs.

Each member gets a role - owner, manager, farmhand, vet, or read-only viewer - so you control who can change what.

Set the date the eggs went in, the species, and the egg count. Feathrs works out the candling days, the lockdown date, and the expected hatch date from that species' incubation length - for chickens that is candling on days 7 and 14, lockdown on day 18, and hatch on day 21. Ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, quail, pheasant, emu, and ostrich each get their own schedule.

Tick each milestone off as you go, and turn on candling, lockdown, and hatch-day notifications so nothing is missed. Record the hatch result when the batch finishes, and run as many batches side by side as you have incubators.

Log daily collections per flock, or per bird if you track individuals. Along with the count you can record broken and damaged eggs, double yolks, average egg weight, shell color, feed and water used, and whether the coop was cleaned.

Feathrs charts production over time, breaks it down by flock, and works out cost per dozen against your feed and expense records. Optional daily reminders prompt you to log the collection, and everything exports as CSV or PDF.

Feathrs has a full health system: illness, injury, and observation logs with diagnosis and outcome, vaccinations with next-due reminders, treatment records with meat and egg withdrawal countdowns, vet visits, and parasite treatment cycles.

For biosecurity you can open a quarantine record for new arrivals with a clearance countdown, and keep a visitor and contractor log. A medicine and supplies inventory tracks what you hold with low-stock alerts, and a dosage calculator helps you get treatment amounts right.

Log breeding pairs with sire and dam, and Feathrs builds a visual family tree and lineage view you can navigate. Hatches create birth records linked back to the parents, and the hatch tracker shows upcoming hatch dates at a glance.

The breed library also includes a hatchery finder - a directory of reputable breeders in your region for the breed you are looking at.

Photograph a bird and Feathrs identifies the breed, returning the best match with a confidence indicator plus the runner-up matches. It covers chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, and turkeys, and works best on clear, well-lit, side-on photos.

The result opens the full breed page in the library so you can check it against the bird in front of you before setting the breed on a profile. The same camera also runs a health check on a photo, flagging visible symptoms and how urgently a vet should see the bird. Camera features are mobile only; on the web app you enter breeds manually.

Yes. Feathrs tracks purchase price, feed costs, vet costs, and sale revenue per bird and per flock. You can see cost per dozen eggs produced, making it easy to price your eggs competitively. Chick and egg sales are tracked with buyer records.

You can keep records for chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, quail, peafowl, swans, emus, ostriches, and rheas.

The breed library goes deep on the five main poultry species - chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, and turkeys - with over 125 recognized breeds between them.

The breed library is a reference database covering chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, and turkeys. Each entry covers origin, purpose, egg color and size, eggs per year, age at first lay, temperament, climate tolerance, identifying features like comb type, plumage, leg and earlobe color, weight range, and life expectancy.

Search or filter by species, save breeds to a wishlist, and use the hatchery finder to see reputable breeders in your region who carry the breed you are viewing - so you can source birds responsibly.

Feathrs costs $7.99/month or $59.99/year, a saving of about 37% on the annual plan. There are no bird count limits, no tiers, and no paid upgrades.

Every new account gets a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment method is required to start the trial. After 14 days you can still open the app, view your records, and export them, but adding and editing is locked until you choose a plan.

You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals, and your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.

None. Flat unlimited pricing is a core principle of Feathrs. Add as many birds as your flock has - one subscription, one price, no tiers or limits on records, photos, or species.

Fully offline-first. All flock records, health logs, egg production data, and financial records are stored locally on your device. You can create, edit, and view everything without any internet connection. When your connection returns, Feathrs syncs in the background automatically.

Yes. You can export flock records, health history, breeding records, egg production data, and financial data as CSV or PDF from within the app - useful for tax preparation, breed association submissions, or keeping a backup.

You do. Your flock records, health logs, breeding data, egg production history, and photos belong to you. Kobe Tech LLC does not sell your farm data to third parties. Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics help us improve the app, but none of that data is identifiable to you or your property.

Account deletion removes all personally identifiable data permanently and immediately. Transaction records required for legal compliance may be retained in anonymised form for up to 7 years. You can delete your account in the app under Account › Account Settings › Delete Account.
